Experience the Little Belt from above
On a bridge walk you will experience the Old Little Belt Bridge and the Little Belt in a completely new way! The tour takes place in the upper part of the bridge's steel structure at a height of 60 metres, from which there is an absolutely fantastic view over the Little Belt, Fredericia and Middelfart. On your trip on the bridge, you will experience the bridge's special steel construction up close, and feel how the bridge vibrates when one of the large freight trains passes beneath you. Along for the trip is one of Bridgewalking Lillebælt's skilled guides, who along the way will tell you about the construction of the bridge and about the history and nature of the area. In the Little Belt there is one of the world's largest populations of porpoises, so if you are lucky, you might see a few of the small whales on your bridge walk.

Bridge walk both summer and winter
Bridgewalking on Den Gamle Lillebæltsbro is something very special regardless of wind, weather and season. On a bridge walk in the spring, you can experience how the forest area of the coast stretches out and the sun is reflected on the surface of the water. In the autumn, the leaves of the treetops appear like a fiery red sea, while the Lillebælt's troubled waters create foam on the wave tops in the winter. No two bridge walks on Den Gamle Lillebæltsbro are experienced the same, and therefore it is not an obstacle if one or more of you have tried bridgewalking before. Lillebælt's nature is forever changing, and your guide always has new stories to tell.
The trip on the Lillebæltsbroen: Worth knowing
Your bridge walk starts at the Bridgewalking Lillebælt welcome center on Galsklintvej 2 in Middelfart. At the starting post at the welcome center, your guide will welcome you. The guide explains the trip, familiarizes you with safety measures and helps you with Bridgewalking Lillebælt's safety equipment. The trip is a total of about 2,5 km long, and it is a requirement that the participants are in reasonably good physical shape, as there are quite a few stairs along the way.
Please note that it is not permitted to bring objects on the tour. Your guide will offer a safety box where you can put your keys, wallets, phones and other small items while you are bridgewalking. It is therefore not possible to take pictures along the way, but your guide will take pictures of you up on the bridge, which you can download afterwards.

Tickets: You can buy tickets for your trip to bridgewalking in the welcome center and online. We recommend that you buy your tickets online so that you are sure of getting a seat on the trip you want.

Plan your day at Bridgewalking Lillebælt
At the Bridgewalking Lillebælt welcome center there is a nice excursion area where you can stay before or after your trip on the bridge. In the welcome center itself, you can buy hot and cold drinks and souvenirs to commemorate your bridgewalking over the Little Belt. Here you can also see a small exhibition about the Old Little Belt Bridge, the Little Belt and the area. Outside the welcome center there are tables and benches where you can enjoy food you have brought, a large nature playground and a fire pit with seating. Please note that it is not possible to buy food at Bridgewalking Lillebælt.
