A sustainable nature center by Denmark's wildest garden

Middelfart Municipality's Nature Center Hindsgavl has won an award for energy-efficient construction.

- The Energy Efficiency Best of Awards 2013 was presented at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin.

It was the architectural firm AART architects, which is behind the center's architecture, which was invited to Dublin to receive the award.

The prize is awarded on the basis of the greatly reduced energy consumption, which is adapted to local climate conditions. This can be seen, among other things, in the sun protection, which both counteracts overheating and contributes to the nature center's architectural profile.
