Beautiful nature at the edge of the Little Belt

Experience one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Denmark with a unique recreational nature area.

The Hindsgavl peninsula houses the Hindsgavl Deer Park Nature Park, the Hindsgavl Nature Center and the Welcome Center for Bridgewalking.

A good walk is the "decoration around" - along the coast from Gl. Harbor to Teglgård and across the peninsula. The trip is approx. 10 km and takes small 4 hours. Dogs must always be kept on a leash.

The zoo has a large population of crowned and fallow deer. On a walk around Dyrehaven, you can experience the deer game that grazes in the forest and on the plain. The deer game are the area's nature and landscape caretakers, who ensure the manor landscape's open plains.

You will also find a nature playground, tarzan track, and the option of food over a fire at the Nature Centre. In other words, there is room for play, fun and enjoyment. Activity and Nature Center Hindsgavl is also a good picnic spot, with access to toilet facilities during the centre's opening hours. There are tables/benches that can be used freely in the centre's packed lunch room.

Bålhytten (Snail House)
Is a place where you can sit down and enjoy yourself around the fire and enjoy the view over the plain. It is designed as part of the nature center's biodiversity area, where people can come and be inspired to create greater biodiversity at home. In addition to the fire hut, three bench areas have also been made, surrounded by wicker.
The campfire hut will also be used by the nature guides when they need to take groups on a trip to the zoo.
