A forest or beach trip?

The beach and forest area at Skærbæk Strandpark is the ideal place for a cozy picnic, a longer walk or a trip to the beach. The forest area behind the beach has a hilly terrain and an extensive trail system. HYer you will also find one worth recommending shelter space.

Facilities

In the beach park area, there are several table and bench sets and benches, from which you can rest and enjoy the good view. Nearby there are also public toilets and information about Blue Flag and the current bathing water quality. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Read the Trygfonden's guide to a safe swimming trip here !

Parking: the area's car park can be found via Brandsøvej.

Swimming bridges and boat bridges

There are 2 bridges set up on the beach: a smaller bathing bridge and a larger bathing and boating bridge 200 meters further along the beach. From the larger bridge, there is also the possibility of loading canoes and kayaks from a low landing, so you can sail from the beach out onto the Little Belt.

If you come to Skærbæk Strandpark by boat, it is possible to moor your boat at the round bridgehead at the end of the larger bridge. It is not permitted to moor your boat on the inner part of the bridge, as this part is reserved for bathers. The smaller bathing bridge is exclusively for bathing.

Watch out for the porpoises when sailing in the Little Belt

When you sail in the Lillebælt Nature Park, you must be aware of the belt's biodiversity. You can read more about how to look after Lillebælt's little residents, the special porpoises, in Nature Park Lillebælt's code of conduct "Noise and porpoises". Find it here!
