Gallery Ekander

Tupilykker are small, imaginative bronze figures, each with their own personality.

Galleri Ekander is located in the back house in the cozy courtyard at Algade 22 Middelfart.

The gallery contains both an exhibition and a workshop, so there is plenty of opportunity to experience both the process and the finished works.

The works consist partly of the bronze sculptures "Tupilykker", which are inspired by Bente's time as a teacher in Greenland - partly of colorful paintings that contain imaginative and poetic narratives, where the inspiration comes from travels, dreams, poems, books, films and loving conversations.

Good luck are small imaginative bronze figures, each with their own personality. Each figure has vitality and auspicious strength that they can hopefully pass on to the environment. The first dumb luck came into the world in March 2010 – since then the crowd has grown almost day by day, and as long as I think it's fun to come up with new types, the family grows. All dumb luck are unique.
