About the Ecolary
Here you can gain new knowledge about how your and my consumption affects our planet. Touch, feel, smell and taste your way through the many interactive experiences. Start by going down to the bottom of the sea. Nature is out of balance here. There is too much algae, crabs and mud. And the fish are gone. What do we do?

See it for yourself
Investigate how much plastic takes up in the sea. Animals suffocate in plastic. Others eat the little pieces of plastic floating around. Investigate how many of the Danish herring have small pieces of plastic in their stomachs.

A walk in the forest
Take us down below the surface of the forest floor and experience all the life that exists here - but which we rarely see. Play with water and see what difference it makes whether water flows through a straight channel or a winding stream. Play and see if you know the leaves of the trees. Watch an animation and understand why we in Denmark have such clean drinking water - yet. And visit the world of rats with a walk in a sewer pipe. Fasten your seat belt and try to be flushed down the toilet yourself and further through the sewer system (in a simulator - don't worry). Play on. Be smart about the environment, energy and, not least, climate change from the Arctic to the coral reefs.
