Catch the best flatfish in the Little Belt

In periods, there can be excellent fishing for flounder, plaice and kingfish, which you can catch with bottom tackle and sand worms or brush worms. Sand worms and brush worms can be bought at several angling shops. Depending on the current and the depth, 30-60 grams of weight should be used on the bottom tackle. Preferably use 2 hooks and you will often experience several fish in the same cast. Use a 9-11 foot rod with a casting weight of 30-80 grams. A corresponding solid spool reel with 0,30 m/m nylon line or 0,17-0,19 m/m braided line is included.

You will find the fish especially on sandy and gravel bottoms. Change the worm or fillet regularly so that the bait is fresh. Do you want to catch more fish, then fish actively, ie. throw out. Let the tackle lie a little. Spin a few feet in. Let lie. Spin in. Etc. Flatfish are curious. Have different bottom tackles with, where some have beads, small metal spoons or spinner blades and others no one has. Try what works. A rod holder is a good idea.

Turbot and brill are most often found on gravel bottoms and they are best fished with herring fillets or belly meat from icing or scrub cut in a pennant. The wares can grow up to 4-5 kg. and can have an incredible ability to 'suck' at the bottom. It takes a rod with a spine to move them 'free'. In return, they taste heavenly.
